Senor Manager - Big Data Delivery

- Grow talent depth and breadth in alignment with organizational needs.

- Manage DS/DE/DA teams to deliver against services, solutions, and product commitments.

- Manager at the senior level provides leadership over a team with similar technical, application, and /or domain background.

- Majority of directs are individual contributors and/or contractors.

- Should be adept with Agile methodology CSM certification is a big plus !

- Leadership is demonstrated through team leadership and knowledge in a specific technical, application, and domain areas.

- Leaders at this level will also start to demonstrate deeper expertise in data science and analytic methodologies and tools and drive best practices.

- Demonstrates ability to communicate technical knowledge through project management and contributions to product strategy.

- Be an active partner to the data needs of the Data Science community across Michelin Group

- May also be asked to provide strategic inputs into budget and other business activities.

SKILLS REQUIRED (Technical & Behavioral)

- 14+ years work experience.

- Experience leading an implementation driving global business benefits at a large scale

- At least 6 years experience leading Analytics projects mainly in the big-data & cloud space

- Experience in Agile

- Partnering with platform, data tech strategy, building data products to -Hands-on experience solving complex technical problems involving big-data on the cloud and/or on-premise

- Thorough understanding of all architectural components of data like ingestion, storage, modeling, virtualization, cataloging, lineage, streaming

- They need to understand how the products are developed and even more important, as big data touches the privacy of consumers, they need to have a set of ethical responsibilities.

- They need to be thinkers who can ask the right (business) questions. They need to be confident and self-secure as they more often than not will have to deal with situations where there is a lot unknown.
