Senor General Manager - Litigation - Manufacturing Sector (10-15 yrs)

Bangalore/Delhi NCR/Gurgaon/Gurugram/Mumbai Job Code: 628443

Minimum 10+ years- Post Qualification Experience (PQE) from a reputed law school or university in India.

- Experience in the litigation department of a law firm or a reputed corporate (preferably in the manufacturing sector) is essential.

- Knowledge of Indian excise and tax legislations is a must. Knowledge of varying treatments of alcohol products and trade across all of India's states will be an added incentive.

- High level of professionalism, integrity and commitment. Proven track record in managing litigations PAN India and reducing large portfolios of litigation.

- Strong knowledge of international anti-bribery legislation (US and UK) and ensuring complete adherence to their provisions.

- Experience in business partnering to senior executives demonstrating the ability and desire to provide pro-active, pragmatic advice in furtherance of the business agenda.

- Demonstrated ability to navigate in legal environments where laws can be unclear and judicial system not always robust and /or negative.

- Previous experience in effectively and efficiently managing legal budgets (especially external counsel spends) with a pronounced stress on productivity.

- Work remotely with external law firms and lawyers in multiple locations across India.

- Complete and independent ownership of critical matters and deliver effective results for the Company.

- To consistently deliver great performance through brilliant execution and being thorough and applying a high standard at workplace.
