Senior VP - Controller - SOX/Control Testing - Financial Services

Roles and Responsibilities:

- A leading global financial services firm with assets of $3 trillion and operations in more than 60 countries. The firm is a leader in investment banking, financial services for consumers and businesses, financial transaction processing, asset and wealth management, and private equity.

- As a Vice President in the Commercial Banking SF&BM Controllers Team, you will be responsible for day to day management of India team executing external reporting quality assurance testing, control management, external reporting and ad hoc projects.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Develop and lead a matrix organization of high performing colleagues executing across a disparate set of controller responsibilities

- Lead team executing quality assurance testing strategy which includes development of test scripts, collection of source evidence, coordination of testing resources, testing, documenting results, identifying source for fails, and developing strategy for resolution where quality check fails

- Lead team executing control testing strategy including facilitating walkthroughs, test of design, development of test scripts, collection of evidence, coordination of resources, testing, and status updates

- Manage and assist in tracking and reporting the status of deficiencies and their remediation by process owners.

- Provide support for various requirements for external reporting, including, but not limited, to U.S. regulators and the SEC
