Senior/Vice President - Supply Chain Management/Procurement - Railways Projects

- End to end responsibility for the procurement of Railways project, technical evaluation of materials and negotiation.

- Responsible for deployment of effective Purchasing Strategies, savings with respect to budgeted cost, coordination with different departments & Suppliers for smooth execution of deliveries.

- Responsible for sourcing and procurement of all types of Plant & Machinery, Automobiles, CAPEX, Steel, Cement, Bulk Materials, Capital Equipment, Tools, and Spares required for the projects.

- Responsible for sourcing through identification of cost effective suppliers for procurement with an aim of improving quality & reliability. Budgeting funds for procurement and sourcing of materials ensuring optimum utilization of materials & maximum cost savings.

- Preparing monthly / quarterly / yearly purchase budgets, identifying potential cost savings.

- Drive commercial negotiations to improve procurement terms.

- Conducting risk analysis.

- Identifying, negotiating and developing a dedicated supplier/vendor source for achieving cost effective purchases of raw materials and reduction in delivery time.

- Experience in Railways is must.

Education required: B.E/B.Tech
