Role Purpose (overall high level summary of the role)

- Establish a consistent Global Reporting service for all Global Businesses, Functions and HOST. 


- Define the operating framework, capabilities, coverage models and engagement models required to partner with Global Heads of HR, Business and Functional CEO's and COO functions. 


- Establish the appropriate coverage models within Shared Service centers (initial Bangalore but potentially follow the sun) as well as regional reporting coverage. 


- Define the global service in terms of self-service reporting, regulatory reporting, bespoke reporting, advanced reporting. The role will manage resources on and offshore, directly and indirectly.

- Define a multi-year strategy, Opex requirements, AOP and budget ownership to deliver a consulting approach to support the Bank's growth, productivity and the - Healthiest human System. 


- Lead the People reporting team with defined engagement frameworks, established brand and clear delivery structures.

- Establish a business intelligence lead self-service reporting solution globally for the Bank, including large scale delivery of operational MI, executive tools and on demand strategic trend based MI. 


- Own the multi-year roadmap for on demand reporting service, including technology stack, data requirements, customer experience and satisfaction, reporting infrastructure (People Insights evolution). 


- Work closely with HR IT to agree the software development process for the BI platform evolution, including version control, launch of new functionality, training and communication requirements.

- Own regulatory and non-regulatory People reporting globally, including data requirements, metrics definition, standard products (weekly, monthly FTE flash reports), and linkage to Finance reporting. 


- Document the regulatory reporting landscape by country, work with HR Data Governance, Data Quality and Data Architecture to produce appropriate documentation for regulatory reporting, to enable sampling, risk management and capacity planning.

- Responsible for continuous improvement and governance of the global reporting service. Including, service management and tracking of usage (who, what, how often), continued rationalization and decommissioning, consistency of service across all markets globally, management of resources support People Reporting.

- Partnering with the Global Head of Advanced Analytics and Global Head of People Analytics Consulting, WFP and OD, the role will formulate an operating model capable of improving the use of data to support better decisions.

Principal Accountabilities: Key activities and decision making areas Typical KPIs and Targets

A key role in the delivery of People Analytics is the digitization of People Analytics reporting and Business Intelligence (BI). The Head of People Reporting and BI will report to the Chief Data Officer, HR / Group Head of People Analytics, and will be responsible for the strategy and delivery of reporting services globally. Reporting services include:

- Standard operational reporting (near real time)

- Strategic / trend based reporting (snapshot history)

- Advanced Reporting

- Regulatory Reporting

- Business Intelligence tool strategy, development and commercialisation

Impact on the Business

- A key deliverable for the role will be to manage a center of excellence based in Bangalore, as well as directly and indirectly manage reporting delivery within Regional and Country teams. The ability to articulate a clear People Analytics reporting and BI strategy will be paramount, including capacity requirements, - follow the sun- coverage models, offshore shared service delivery, technology evolution and best in class visualization.

- Lead and direct the Global People Reporting organisation to ensure the Group, businesses and functions and geographies receive dynamic, focused, optimal and relevant People MI to support decision making and delivery of the Group's strategy. The Head of People Analytics Reporting and BI is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the People Reporting target operating model, applicable systems, tools, policy, templates/reports (their design and), and has general oversight of processes, systems, capabilities of the people and the capacity of this Global organisation.

- Working closely with HR IT, external consultants, internal analytics teams, engineering teams, CDO and senior stakeholders, the successful candidate will lead the strategy and development of new and existing digital products across the People Analytics function. This will include defining the requirements of the HR Data Warehouse, HR Data Lake, Cloud data strategy - input into blending data from multiple systems including PeopleSoft, SAP SuccessFactors, Recruitment platforms and Learning management systems. Success will be measured by the level of contribution to drive innovation delivering real customer success.

Implement global people reporting target operating model - to be adopted across the wider Group and drive consistency within Global functions, Global Businesses and Regions.

Leadership & Teamwork

- The Head of People Analytics Reporting and BI should have a proven history in leading a large reporting and BI function as well as a passion for problem solving. They should be comfortable developing a multi-year strategy, managing budget (direct and indirect costs) as well as solving detailed complex problems. The candidate needs to have a high level of understanding of reporting and analytical technologies and the ability to apply them confidently to the challenge of workforce issues. Engaging with the right stakeholders to understand the key issues to solve and the most efficient, scalable way to do it.

Build high-performing, progressive, effective, and efficient global reporting & BI capability

Operational Effectiveness & Control Service Delivery

- Responsible for delivery of high quality MIS & Reporting, Data & Information Management & Analysis solutions & provide tailored consultative service to Global Businesses, GF, Host, and regions

- Partner with business stakeholders in formulating key information management strategies

- Ensure positive score in the Business Partner Surveys

- This role should ensure stable practices within the Non-Financial Risk Off-shore Reporting Utility are executed in line with policy and standards (managing and maintaining EUCs, Standard Operating Procedures etc.). They should also ensure the team operates in line with the Function's Risk Data Aggregation Framework and quality standards.

- Data Privacy - ensure appropriate controls around data usage and sharing within reporting services. Reduce costs by leveraging an offshore and near shore model - synergize majority of the current reporting teams located in onshore locations
