Job Location: Pune Summary: Responsible for managing multiple functions within the Fund Accounting group of the Client Accounting Practice (CAP), providing leadership and guidance to subordinate. Overall accountability for the performance management and career development programs for the function. CAP is a team of global service financial professionals that has operational capabilities in all locations. CAP encompasses Valuation Reporting and Unitized Valuation and Reporting Service and is comprised of partners who support company's business in conjunction with the global network of operational partners. Responsibilities: - Establishes strategy, direction, initiatives, policies and standards for the accounting practice - Assures policies, processes and procedures are properly documented and are being routinely followed - Ensures daily performance of accounting functions, meets expectations / SLA's of existing client/partner base and is properly monitored and controlled within audit standards and risk thresholds - Supports business growth through participation or providing talent for participation in sales, servicing and product development activities as requested - Seasoned multi-disciplinary expert with extensive technical and/or business knowledge and functional expertise - Focus of role is on execution of strategic direction of business function activities - Carries out complex initiatives involving multiple disciplines and/or ambiguous issues - Displays a balanced, cross-functional perspective, liaising with the business to improve efficiency, effectiveness and productivity - Seasoned leader with extensive business experience, and broad functional expertise, with focus on proactive strategic leadership - Responsible for managing multiple units or functions through the direct management of a group of managers
