Director Of Engineering Objective: The Senior Vice President of Engineering will be responsible for establishing the Brand's technical vision and leading all aspects of technology development. The prospective incumbent will be the brand's top product executive, playing an integral role in the company's strategic direction, development, and future growth. Key Responsibilities: - You will be responsible for driving the overall IT product roadmap and execution to meet Internal stakeholder, user expectations, and business objectives their Suite of Products - Developing and delivering features for the product; leading cross-functional teams by providing product vision and setting strategic goals for those groups - Responsible for the full product lifecycle, from writing specifications, working across multi-disciplinary teams: design, art, and engineering to launch core features - Exhibit sound product judgment, ability to formulate product strategy and present clear measurable objectives that will lead to achieving our business goals - Expected to provide valuable input into business cases based on in-depth data analysis and demonstrated how that analysis impacts key product metrics. - Acting as Evangelist for the R&amp;D team in India among Global Heads of various businesses/ functions on the strategic and operational opportunities associated with outsourcing more work to the India Entity Solution Architecture :&nbsp; - Drive solution architecture, technical design and development strategies for all core product releases - Participate in client technical discussions and review key architectural decisions - Provide technical governance in collaboration teams to assess technical risks and opportunities - Focus on innovation, emerging technologies and make recommendations on the strategic use of technology for accelerating business results. - Work with the executive leadership team to build and continuously refine company, product, and technical roadmaps. Engineering Practices:&nbsp; - Mentor technical staff on engineering best practices (TDD, BDD, CI, CD) - Be a custodian to drive clean-code practices and technical design principles - Drive and foster a culture of quality and technical agility across teams - Partner with teams to drive technical forums, knowledge sharing and collaboration - Conduct regular design and code reviews, establishing quality and performance metrics - Coach, grow and mentor their product engineering team Leadership &amp; Accountability: - Build cohesive teams of people within the organization, valuing team spirit - Share achievements with the team such that each team member feels valuable and appreciated - Take ownership for policy, regulation and compliance in all relevant areas - Go-getter attitude, Collaborative, Agile, Responsive, Persuasive Must-Have: - 18+ years of experience with exposure to large-scale complex enterprise applications in BFSI - 10+ years of experience working with .NET technologies, with advanced proficiency in C# - Technical acumen and understanding of Agile technical practices and how they operate within an Agile organization - Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment - Managed a scale of 150+ Team members - Involved with the Product development of the Organization
