Leadership opportunity into a Banking major! (Diversity hiring - Female candidates will be preferred)
This is a modeling lead role for Senior Vice President and the mandate is to lead analytics project delivery for the APAC Team.
Core Responsibilities
Project Delivery & Strategy:
- Lead model development teams and enable delivery of annual model plans
- Build & leverage horizontal linkages with business teams, and other analytics teams such as implementation & tracking
- Define and develop interaction models aligned to the business requirements
- Contribute to Financial, Operational and Talent plans and ensure adherence AIM & business plans
Organizational Development:
- Identify new competency areas and draw up plans to develop the same
- Define organizational culture and undertake initiatives to promote the same
Experience (Required):
- 13+ years of experience in Financial Services/Analytics industry
- Experience in leading Modeling / Data Science Teams with an end to end understanding of Modeling Life Cycle Management
- Hands on experience in model development and familiarity with major modeling techniques
- Experience in leading cross site analytics teams and delivering on organizational mandates
- Experience at mentoring next level leaders in the organization
Qualifications:
Established competency in one or more of the following:
- Financial Analysis
- Business Analysis
- Statistical Modeling
- Strong Analytical aptitude and logical reasoning ability
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Strong process / project management skill
- Knowledge of analytical tools such as SAS / SQL and complex data sources
Skills (Preferred):
- Experience in one or more financial services businesses such as Cards, Retail bank, mortgage etc
