Senior System Developer - Web & Mobility - Agriculture Sector

Looking for IT experience in agriculture sector. Possess in-depth understanding of agri-business domain across pre harvest and postharvest value chain, including Sales and marketing, distribution channel mapping, crop production, research & development, supply chain automation, loyalty programs, data science and analytics, digital marketing and commodity warehousing. Instrumental in conceptualizing and rolling out multiple business critical solutions PAN India or across international business.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Plan, coordinate, and execute activities involving customization, development, training and delivery of web and mobility solutions to various Businesses

- Ensure production and delivery of high quality data and reports

- Generate ongoing and new software projects; and offer timely and effective user support

- Maintain and verify regular backups for all web applications hosted onsite

- Maintain and renew all the SSL certificates for existing web applications

- Travel as needed to attend to internal training, requirement analysis and implementation on various sites

- Maintain all the service accounts like Google Play store and apple app store, domain names etc

Technical Skills :

- Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle

- Knowledge of any of the programming languages (.NET/PHP/ANGULAR JS/JAVA/ANDROID/SWIFT)

- Knowledge of RDMS (SQL, MySQL), working knowledge on MySQL workbench/SSMS

- Understanding / Experience of Waterfall and Agile methodologies of software development

- Ability to work independently and within a small team

- Experience understanding business needs and translating to deliverable

- Experience working for a major multi-national agribusiness, agrochemical, seed, infrastructure sector or IT companies linked with Agri related projects is preferred
