Senior Finance & Accounts Specialist

Requirement : Graduates/Post Graduates in Accounting with good communication and minimum 5 years of experience in AP, AR and GL Processes. Should also have experience in Month end close and financial reporting.

Job Description :

Accounts Payable :

1. Manage End to End AP process

2. Ability to resolve vendor queries/escalations independently

3. Recommendation of payments to be made

Accounts Receivable :

1. Manage End to End AR process

2. Revenue Recognition, Deferred Revenue Accounting and tracking, unbilled revenue, Percentage of completion calculations, read contracts/SOWs for deciding revenue recognition treatment"

3. Ability to resolve customer queries/escalations independently

4. Bad debts/Provisions: Calculation, Accounting and Analysis

General Ledger :

1. Subject Matter Expert on Accounting and GAAP

2. Manage & own month close process - creation of close checklist, calendars and leading close calls with the client

3. Preparation and Review of Financial statements (P&L Account, Balance Sheet & Cash flow statements)"

4. Preparation & Review of Balance Sheet reconciliations and P&L Schedules

5. Calculation and accounting of Transfer Pricing entries

6. Accounting of Foreign exchange transactions

7. Currency translations and revaluation of Foreign exchange balances

8. Consolidation of Financial Statements

9. Manage Audit and PBC related activity

10. Commission calculations/Tracking and accounting

11. Preparation of Cash forecasting (Weekly/Monthly)

12. Variance Analysis - P&L -Budget to Actuals

13. Preparation of Close Pack and Board Deck
