Senior Specialist - Credit Risk - Trade Finance Segment - BFSI (7-12 yrs)
- Assisting the Credit Lead in taking responsibility of the overall credit risk of the portfolio of the Country
- Enabling the Trade Finance team to achieve the budgeted figures.
- Responsible for assessing and evaluation of Credit Risk of Trade Finance customers.
- Responsible for recommending and presenting Credit Applications with appropriate rationale, for decisioning by the Credit Committee.
- Interact with the different teams and stakeholders and ensure that all required information for the credit analysis is obtained.
- In conjunction with the Trade Finance Sales team, ensure that an annual review of the credit exposures on the Client is completed.
- Analyze and understand the sectoral key success factors/ risks that could impact their business/ financial performance.
- Understand the business drivers and assist in the design of suitable parameters/ model that would facilitate the credit/ business evaluation
- Be abreast of latest developments Read/ research secondary sources/ news to understand the developments in the business of the customer and evaluate their impact.
- Understanding of financial statements and local regulatory requirements
- Ability to work with a team (even in locations outside of India)
- Ability to face the regulator and address concerns in the event of any regulatory issues on the trade finance credit assessment.
- Managing the reporting requirement to the Board and local regulator with support from global back office teams
