Senior Solutions Marketing Manager - Test & Measurement MNC Looking for a Senior Manager, Solutions Marketing to join our Core Real Time Oscilloscope product line! The Senior Manager, Solutions Marketing will lead a team of marketing professionals to grow the business by using Voice-of-Customer (VOC) to drive market understanding and experimentation to prioritize solutions for our customers. The qualified candidate will be responsible for core marketing functions that include software product planning and product marketing of solutions for a key portion of the Mid-Range Oscilloscope Portfolio. - The successful individual will collaborate cross-functionally with teams around the globe including: other Product Lines, Product Development Engineers, Service, Sales, and more. - Planning and marketing responsibilities include: full life-cycle management for software solutions, new product introduction, pricing, forecasting, positioning, promotion, creating and delivering training, creating and delivering customer presentations/collateral, and large deal/tender involvement. Specific responsibilities include : - Lead a team of 4-6 product marketing professionals in software product planning and product marketing - Grow and mentor team members by owning all elements of the employee development cycle - Lead the team in VOC collection and experimentation to drive market understanding and create conviction around prioritization of solutions that meet our customer's needs - Work with other product lines to effectively create cross-organizational alignment in the prioritization and creation of differentiated solutions for customers - Create and maintain the software solution product roadmap - Work with engineering leadership on resourcing prioritization to effectively execute the solution product roadmap - Lead team in business case evaluation and financial forecasting of solutions - Responsible for driving accountability of achieving solution financial plan - Provide support for the direct channel and full portfolio distributors - Lead team in creation of product marketing content and sales enablement tools that clearly convey our differentiated value propositions - Lead team in the development of training content and train the channel to improve channel efficiency and effectiveness - Lead the team in solution pricing strategies - Lead team in conducting competitive evaluations and competitive sales briefs - Lead global and regional initiatives as required - Drive cross-functional solution strategy to achieve overall business strategy - Drive continuous improvement in the organization through Fortive Business System tools - Traveling as required to support customer visits as wells as internal business initiatives Qualifications (External) Minimum Requirements: - Bachelors Degree in Engineering with a specialization in Electronics & Communication or Computer Science or equivalent technical background required - 10+ years of relevant work experience with global customer exposure. - 5+ years of experience leading and managing a team of individual contributors in software product management/marketing (preferably in an Agile Scrum development environment) - Experience interacting, listening and communicating with customers - Knowledge of software product planning/management and marketing fundamentals such as: pricing, positioning, articulating value propositions, building a differentiated strategy, understanding customer needs, and more - Experience communicating and presenting to large and small groups of both internal and external stakeholders - Experience using logic and analytics to solve problems and make organizational improvements Preferred Requirements: - MBA and/or Marketing Degree preferred - 5+ years of software experience in SaaS, cloud applications, social media, or internet technology is a plus - Experience or familiarity in the Test & Measurement industry - Experience as a product owner for software products employing Agile Scrum based software development practices - Experience with Technical selling and/or support - Experience working in multiple markets and environments
