Sr Sales Professional for Structural Engineering Company - Bangalore Location

Client is headquartered in US and has grown to multiple seventeen offices with over 500 employees worldwide. Founded in 1989 as a Structural Engineering Company, Client has provided design services to the Architectural community since its inception.

India Office has started with two employees in 1999 and has grown to 300+ employees since then.

Client has designed Reinforced Concrete structures, Post-Tensioned structures and Steel Structures.

He opening is Bangalore based and he has to take care of Malaysia (60%) AND India Market(40%) .

Job Description for Sr Sales Role -

Roles at India Office:

- Identifying and tapping new business opportunities and involved in streamlining of business development activities of India Office. Responsible for the coordination of all marketing and business development activities in all the functional Engineering Groups / disciplines in India with an objective to achieve the annual target and also be instrumental in developing and maintaining Client Relationship Management.

- Driving and monitoring Marketing / Business Development Operations.

- Scanning Industry scenario and scouting business for development

- Formulate the overall account strategy - understand customer business needs, co-ordinate with internal resources, lead the team and present integrated solution to the Client.

- Strong exposure to Lead generation, new business development & strategic account management

- Work with internal teams to deliver outstanding presentation to capture profitable business opportunity

- To maintain an excellent client relationship with existing and potential client

- Execute creative yet practical plans to service delivery through, workflow management and process standardization.

- Set up meetings between client decision makers and company's practice leaders/Principals.

- Work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the clients needs, concerns, and objectives.

- Participate in pricing the solution/service.

Roles at Malaysia Office:

- Identify prospective clients and build up relationship with key decision makers and stakeholders on 3 main areas of interest across Malaysia and Asia Pacific regions:

- IBS Technology with prime focus on Precast concrete structures.

- Architecture and Design of Parking Structures.

- Restoration and structural retrofit of Heritage Buildings.

- Establish and coordinate Business action plans focusing on the above services.

- Connect with Owners, Developers and Architects in the Industry to create awareness on converting Conventional Construction practices to New age IBS/Precast technology, thus creating a healthy client base.

- Promote the need of efficient Parking Structure design among the Industry audience.

- Develop and implement business strategies, prepare proposals, presentation & quotation.

- Develop Client relationship that will improve client satisfaction and retention.

Requirement:

- 10 years (or plus) of experience in business development

- University degree from Civil/Mechanical background will be an advantage.

- Proven track record of developing new businesses

- Experience working with Design Engineering Consulting company

- Strong in client connection and client services

- Strong responsibility, self-motivated, able to work under high pressure

- Excellent practical understanding of forecasting, budgeting and accounting principles and techniques.

- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills and be a proven leader and motivator of a high caliber team.

- Credibility and influencing skills in a busy and complex working environment.
