Senior Sales & Project Manager - Ocean Freight (8-12 yrs)

The role is responsible for Generate Sales, Demand for LCL consolidation for Freight Forwarding Business of Yatra, Lead, Develop & Implement marketing strategies driving growth for both Import & export freight forwarding Ocean vertical. The role will develop, plan and manage the implementation of sales coverage and maximize revenue. This position is responsible for project management, maintaining the business flow and onboarding new clients & managing regional teams in order to magnify financial growth and exceed organizational targets. This is a Leadership role at the regional level for LCL consolidation

Responsibilities

- You will be responsible for developing a footprint in LCL consolidation for Ocean Freight forwarding

- You will develop and create innovative marketing & sales strategy to onboard b2b freight forwarders & CHAs for LCL.

- Sell other ocean transportation customized solutions for customers.

- Target is to develop long term relationships to create a sustainable, profitable, consistent and recurrent business.

- Your prospect, you enhance customer loyalty and you develop your customers' portfolio, according to the policy and the commercial objectives

- You must maintain the profitability of the department while controlling expenses and maintaining customer satisfaction

- You define and implement your own Commercial Action Plan with your general manager.

- Ensure a competitive intelligence and occasionally carry out marketing studies

Team Management

1. Person should be responsible for managing a regional team

2. Guide, motivate and train the team

The person should have experience in freight forwarding (Ocean) Sales, must have an existing shipper base understanding, shipment project understanding and B2B customer base which can be diverted once on-board.
