We are hiring for one of the bank based out in Kerala for a Treasury role.&nbsp; Job Objective - To lead the development and implementation of the Treasury strategy including asset liability management, regulatory investments, management of interest rate etc. in order to ensure utilisation of the Bank's funds in the most optimal manner so as to maximise profits within the risk parameters. Primary responsibilities:&nbsp; Strategic and planning:&nbsp; - Ensure that the division strategy and related strategic plans are developed, implemented and are aligned with the vision and mission of the Bank. - Develop and oversee the implementation of policies, procedures and controls covering all areas of Treasury division activity so that all relevant procedural/regulatory requirements are met. Functional:&nbsp; - Oversee execution of deals for investing, trading and funding purposes in SLR securities, non SLR securities, lending and borrowing products etc. in adherence to regulatory norms. - Oversee the maintenance of SLR and CRR within the RBI prescribed norms without breaches. - Liaise with banks &amp; financial institutions and regulatory authorities for treasury management. - Ensure adherence to Compliance of investment and risk policy limits on Trading, Investments and Prudential norms. - Assess risks of correspondent banks in co-ordination with the credit risk and recommend facilities for other banks and financial institutions. Monitor the lines with other banks and financial institutions and other arrangements to ensure effective utilisation. - Ensure Compliance of regulatory policies and circulars as amended up-to date. - Forecast daily, monthly and long-term liquidity profile maintaining the optimum liquidity levels. - Continually review departmental reports and statements on the P&amp;L, liquidity, cash flow and advise management of significant trends to manage the Asset-Liability position of the Bank. - Ensure compliance of RBI prescribed tolerance level on liquidity gaps. - Responsible in meeting profit targets without breach of policies. - Ensure compliance of cut loss, take profit levels on trading. - Responsible for ensuring quality of treasury investments by investing in the best interest earning assets and with less credit risk. - Develop investment strategy, review and recommend asset allocation for the investment portfolio to the relevant Board Committee. - Ensure Quality by making Credit conscious investment decision and maintaining expected ROI. - Ensure the maintenance of the investment levels as per investment policy. - Monitor the availability of funds for gainful utilisation and placement/investment with approved financial institutions and proceed as per approvals and guidelines of the Management - Identify the need for funds to match the lending and operations of the Bank and develop and implement optimal funding strategies. Accept borrowings/placement from financial institutions at rates favourable to the Bank Internal process:&nbsp; - Ensure that all activities carried out by the department are as per the set standard operating procedures - Ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements and Turnaround time - Preparation of reports to respective heads and statutory bodies ensuring its accuracy and timely submission. - Be updated on the regulatory framework and guidelines issued &amp; guide the team on the same, in order to ensure that operational procedures related to the department conform to such guidelines. People development:&nbsp; - Maintain the highest standards of professional conduct, ethics, integrity, and control in execution of daily operations. - Continuously strive for self-development by actively seeking opportunities for growth. - Ensure adherence to timelines for completion of performance appraisal for self. - Take overall responsibility for identification of training needs and completion of mandatory training programs/certifications for self Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in the Primary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.
