Senior Role - Talent Management - BFSI (10-20 yrs)
Key Result Areas :
In partnership with the senior leadership team, the incumbent will integrate the organization's strategic direction with human capital objectives and the company's cultural aspirations
- Design, Implementation and facilitation of talent management initiatives including talent reviews, succession planning, leadership development programs and skills-based training
- Act as a liaison between the line and HR to ensure that HR services are aligned with internal client needs
- Attract, lead, motivate and retain a high-performance HR team
- Provide leadership and direction in the ongoing development and implementation of policies, processes, and systems to build the infrastructure necessary to support a high-growth organization
- Facilitating change; promoting championing and supporting organizational change.
- Enhance our end-to-end talent management process, including employee engagement, performance management, team effectiveness, organizational development, retention and succession with effective accountability
- Understand employee opinions and anticipate their needs and concerns - Gather business intelligence and share with the internal team
- Manage specific projects as determined in the annual HR operational plan and participate in functional and cross-functional initiatives
- Providing coaching, counseling, and conflict resolution. Supporting managers on documenting and communicating performance feedback
- Participating in or leading the development and implementation of corporate, divisional, and Human Resources policies, programs, practices, and processes and communicating so employees and managers clearly understand purpose and expectations.
- Assist with developing employment branding on a national level.
- Contribute to making a - learning organization- by developing and implementing effective, relevant, and scalable development and career-enhancing programs to ensure sustainable, superior performance throughout the Company
- Design and enhance robust internal communications plans including frequent organizational updates, employee meetings and events, and ensuring timely messaging across the organization
- Coach leaders in building organizational capabilities and leadership capacity, diagnose organizational issues, and develop plans to overcome them
- Ensure compliance with employee-related local laws and regulations, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to all outside agencies.
- Develop and promote feedback mechanisms for employees to influence the continuous improvement of HR services and processes
Required Qualifications & Experience:
MBA / Post Graduate Degree in Human Resource Management or Post Graduate Degree in General Management with at least 8 years of work experience
- Demonstrated capability in the HR function including work as a generalist and strategic partner to the leadership team
- Financial services industry experience is an added advantage
- A broad knowledge of, and experience in, human resources planning, organizational design and effectiveness, all aspects of recruitment, talent management, total rewards, and HRIS
- Demonstrated success in leading through high growth, and a history of driving continuous improvement during those high growth periods
- Organizational leadership skills and a drive to achieve results with a sensitivity to the need for communicating effectively with other members of the team
- High energy individual with the ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail while simultaneously capable of seeing the whole picture
- Encourages open discussion of different ideas and views, good communicator at all levels of the organization, and seen as trustworthy and transparent
- Must have the drive necessary to learn the business and operate the HR function as a critical enabler of executing business strategies, including an appropriate sensitivity to costs and the need to make decisions given P&L constraints
