- This role supports senior architects with conducting complex technology and system assessments for component architecture and may participate in enterprise architecture activity.

- Provides technical and systems consultation to internal clients and technical management to ensure alignment with Enterprise Architecture.

- Should be able to deliver on standard architectural processes and artifacts in alignment with Enterprise Architecture practices.

- Researching, re-mediating, and also creating new System Architecture Specification documents which document our several hundred infrastructures and application environments within EDA.

- Contribute to solution elements of the core architecture LTA (Living Target Architecture).

- Contribute to solution elements of the core architecture CAD, TAP, AAA.

- Contribute to Infrastructure Architecture related projects, delivering ITRs and working with IA and BPE.

- EDA operating models for systems development, core architecture, and Meta data, and participate in their deployment via project-related assignments.

- Build required technical and functional knowledge.

- Need to be able to take a concept from a white board to a viable solution in a reasonable length of time. Generate prototypes to discuss different solutions.

- Work independently to meet deliveries in terms of timelines and Quality.

- Ability to think logically; excellent problem solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.

- Excellent Collaboration and communication skills to work with US tech leads to obtain inorganic growth detail each planning cycle.

- Strategic thinker with strong implementation skills, highly organized and self-directed; takes initiative

- Ability to manage multiple project deliverables

- Raise questions and seek clarifications appropriately and timely

- The role of systems architect in Core Architecture for EDA is to plan, design and oversee implementation of low to medium impact technical and infrastructure architecture for the EDA environments.

- This encompasses the data warehouses running on Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server, Aster, other emerging technologies, reporting/analysis BI infrastructure, ETL infrastructure, major program applications such as customer campaign lead generation management, fraud, risk, and data mining applications.

- The systems collectively are in the petabyte range, including associated applications, residing on over 1475 production/development servers, supporting over 240 distinct software components, running in four data centers. Environments include Unix (RHEL, SLES), Windows 2008 and Mainframe.

- Architecture and infrastructure involves all phases of the development life cycle, from requirements, technology evaluation, system design, capacity forecasting, development and implementation.
