Client is a well known Pvt sector bank &amp; is rated highly among its peer group. It has been aggressively expanding its footprints in Trade Finance products. Role : Sr. role in Regional Trade Sales (Tamil Nadu and Kerala) Location : Chennai. Role specs : - Candidate shall be responsible for consultative selling, implementation and management of Trade finance products to existing &amp; prospective SME / Mid Market corporate customers (Turnover 100-1500 Crore) - Develop new revenue streams by identifying and selling innovative trade finance solutions to a portfolio of clients thus maximizing commercial profitability and relationship depth. - This will include responsibility for pricing, reviewing and negotiating the full range of trade finance services together with effecting any cost reduction initiatives required by the bank - They will act as the senior trade product representative on opportunities with key clients and/or deals along with respective SME/Mid market business units. - Drives best practice in lending and risk policies ensuring this remains in line with economic and market practices. Candidate specs : - Strong expertise in SME / Mid corporate banking sales; with core experience in trade sales - Candidate from Chennai/Coimbatore preferable - Extensive knowledge of global trade and receivables finance, services, products and techniques, knowledge of the local market &amp; market trends, competitive environment and regulatory environment - Detailed knowledge of Credit &amp; Risk including techniques to mitigate risk through trade products - Sales &amp; Client Management experience at a senior level including dealing with senior executives plus a proven sales record - Proven ability in identifying and meeting customer needs through matching a broad range of products and services. - Proven ability to deliver creative and flexible customer solutions through interaction with business customers at all levels - Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders - Trade finance related industry qualifications by CITF,CTFP, IIBF etc is desirable.
