Senior Role - Legal - LLB/LLM - Textile Manufacturing

Responsibilities :

- Corporate and Commercial transactions - Drafting and vetting of various agreements such as Supply & Services, Logistics & other Commercial Contracts

- Negotiating, licensing and building IP deals.

- Managing existing portfolio, identify unprotected IP assets in the business, civil claims against IP violators, anti-counterfeiting.

- Initiate / defend and pursue Legal Proceedings including briefing external Legal Counsels, prepare Case for Opinions, settling Plaints, Written Statements, Writ Petitions etc

- Present high level of entrepreneurship and open yourself up to new opportunities and challenges.

- Proficiency in handling arbitration matters

- Contractual risk evaluation and recommend mitigation measures

- Interacting with other functions / departments for all matters that may give rise to legal team's role

- Carry out exhaustive research on Case Laws and latest amendments to relevant laws; From time to time, hold interactive sessions with other departments.

Requirement :

- Law graduate (LL.B/LL.M) from a reputed university.

- 12+ years of experience

- Excellent relationship building, influencing and negotiating skills

- A pro-active, entrepreneurial, understanding of the commercial value of Legal functions.

- Strong logical and organizational skills

- Fluency in English
