Senior Role - Land Acquisition - Wind Energy - LLB

Job Specifications:

Total Experience: 20-25 years

Essential Qualification: Graduate, preferred, Law degree

Factors :

- Private and revenue land acquisition experience for at least 5 years at senior level with highest land acquisition in maximum states in India.

- Acquisition of liability free private and revenue land acquisition in all the six short-listed states within agreed budget and timelines.

Purpose of the Position :

- Successful & liability free acquisition of Revenue and Private Land in Different States of India & to effectively deal with the concerned Ministry, State and Central Government Offices / Department for all kind of approvals, sanction, Clearance, etc. in quickest possible time frame of the organisation

Principle Accountabilities:

- Acquire and manage liability free revenue and private land for renewable wind projects within the pre-agreed budgets and timelines as decided by the management in PAN India.

- Networking with regulatory bodies like Ministry of Urban Development, Power, Forest, Revenue, etc. both at central & state level

- End to end Government approvals for the organization with regard to setting up Wind energy projects successfully in various state of the country.

- To appoint Advocates/Consultants in coordination with legal cell to deal with all land matters in consent with senior management

- To procure private land after complete due diligence & best negotiation

Role & Responsibilities :

- To provides updates on government policies with regard to land matters & opportunities to CEO & senior management team

- Help respective State Team in preparing applications for revenue and private land in line with the land acquisition policy and renewable energy policy of the state.

- To furnish documents as & when required by the government, statutory & regulatory bodies

- To lead land acquisition team placed at different states on a functional role.

- Coordinate with State Land Team and the State government officers for various approval, clearance & timely acquisition of the land.

- Keep a strict control on cost and expenses for land acquisition.
