Senior Role - IT Strategy/Advisory (11-15 yrs)

Candidate will be responsible for Formulating Strategy and Execute the Strategy for following key streams -

1) Primary Responsibilities :

a. Program Management

- Strategic/Senior Individual contributor, responsible for timely and accurate reporting of the key initiatives.

- Ability to lead the strategic initiatives end to end.

- Run the RFP's and gain meaningful results for the organization.

- Proficient in MS excel, and should be able to build models / scenario analysis.

- Accurate and timely reporting

- Stakeholder Management.

b. Resource and Location Strategy (part of Execution 2.0) :

- Come up with ideas, execute and implement them for defined targeted dollar saves independently.

- Formulation, execution, oversight, and governance of all IT outsourcing related resource and location strategies in the region.

- Influencing senior management to ensure adoption of location and site strategies

- Providing recommendations for Resource, Location, Cost and Delivery optimization

- Defining, tracking and reporting resource and location strategy related actions for O&T in the region

2) Secondary Responsibilities -

a. Delivery Engagements Optimization and Productivity Optimization

- Transforming and Maturing IT Engagements in Development, Testing and Production Support for operating model and cost

- Detailed review of APAC Statements of Work (SOWs)

- Influencing internal and external stakeholders to accept the recommendations, and ensuring that the final executed SoW is in line with Companies Technology objectives

b. Robotic Process Automation

- Knowledge of RPA will be an added advantage.

A. ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Business/ Department

Objectives: This job involves continuous interaction and negotiation with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure that strategic objectives are met. The job can be split into following functions -

1) Program Management of key strategic large scale global initiatives that can help achieve cost efficiencies.

2) Resource and Location Strategy - This contributes to one of the streams in Execution 2.0 - - Location and Site Strategy- . This function consists of detailed analysis of resource mix (Perm vs. Non-Perm / High vs. Mid vs. Low Cost / Management % / Supplier Split) for each and providing recommendations on the best Resource and Location Strategy to seniors.

One of the key functions would be to influence and work with LOBs for actual implementation of the strategy, while ensuring business continuity.

Once the plans are finalized, the role involves on-going detailed resource level tracking of committed actions, and saves reporting.

3) SoW and Engagement Optimization - This involves detailed review of APAC Statements of Work (SOWs) and engagements to validate if they are in line with Technology objectives, and to ensure that the organization gets the best value on the Technology spend.

Core Responsibilities:

1) Program Management

2) Lead the initiatives (like RFP, etc.) end to end.

3) Build excel models/ scenario analysis / reporting templates in MS excel.

4) Formulate strategies with regards to resource location and outsourcing vendors. Get the technology buy-in for the strategy, facilitate implementation, track to closure, ensure Cost saves are realized and reported

5) Manage the relationship with organizations technology seniors, and become their trusted strategy partner

6) Review outsourcing agreements to ensure right cost, best outsourcing engagement and pricing model, right delivery /governance model, optimized service levels

7) Drive cost saves for the organization across the engagements

8) Work with partners to identify key, critical members of project teams, and work with global management teams ensure right fit of resources in terms of location, supplier, and cost, while ensuring business continuity

9) Provide status reports, engagement reports and local intelligence to senior management on a regular basis

10) Help teams to transition work between suppliers and across locations where required

11) Provide guidance on outsourcing approvals related matters, and support LoBs in getting requisite clearances from Risk, Compliance and Regulators

12) Management of stakeholder communication

Individual Contributor (IC)/Managerial Individual Contributor

Qualifications

A. QUALIFICATIONS

Education: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Computers - MBA (Desirable)

Experience: -

Senior IT or Operations delivery and risk manager who has exposure of handling multiple programs.

- 12+ years- experience in O&T

- Expertise in PMO functions / Program Management, SDLC and delivery governance

- Contribution to SEPG and other Delivery Excellence initiatives

- Expertise in providing solutions and responding to RFP- s/RFI's from delivery team perspective

- Expertise in outsourcing methodology, risk and compliance

- Expert in different pricing and engagement models prevalent in the industry

- Experience in developing strategy for outsourcing, engagement optimization

- Experience of managing large, project teams

- Hands-on to work as an independent contributor

- Good knowledge of Global Sourcing

- Should be creative, innovative and have an ability to think out of the Box

- Should be able to generate high quality, well-designed communication material (Presentations etc.)

- Excellent and clear communication skills are a must.

- Excellent written skills are a must

- Strong negotiation and influencing skills

Certifications:

- Industry certifications in Sourcing, Banking, Project Management, ITIL, Testing would be a plus
