Senior Role - General Accounting - Bank - CFA/CWA/CA/CPA (10-20 yrs)
Experience: 10-20 Years in General Accounting like Accounts payable, accounts receivable, order to cash, record to report
Team handling experience is mandate and should be team handler on papers
Job Description
- Manages teams performing reconciliations to present true and fair view of balances sheet and Identify, document, track and explain transactional differences between GL and SL balances.
- Balance sheet certifications & aging
- Closing & Reporting:
- General Accounting experience
- Month-end journal preparation
- Daily Inter-co accounting for funding
- Internal & External audit support
- Invoice Process both manual and EDI, Funding, Cash Application, Customer Set up, Rebooking, Rates and Terms audit review all performed
Responsibilities
- Works independently with considerable latitude, managing various production initiatives and projects
- Liaises and develops a strong connect with stakeholders.
- Supports training, performance evaluation, coaching, succession planning and development for TMs. Streamlines daily processing workflow, revises and updates the procedure manuals. Lead any projects as required
Essential Qualifications
- CFA/CWA/CA/CPA, Minimum of 5 years people management experience in banking operations (Commercial and/or CIB segment)
- > 5 years in banking industry & as a people manager; overall 10-12 years of experience
- Fluent in both verbal and written communication skills
- Proven management skills with ability to analyze issues or customer complaints and provide solution in a tactful manner
