Senior Role - Financial Risk Underwriting - BFS

To Design and execute Financial Risk Underwriting philosophy and principles for the organization to drive profitability. The role is responsible to lead a robust underwriting team and a function that ensures risk management/mitigation through prudent underwriting.

- The role ensures carrying out daily operations as per business/regulatory needs and acts as a balance between risk and customer centricity while focusing on quality.

- Conduct benchmarking with industry (as per business need).

- Conduct business quality trend analysis (A/E).

- Review and revise underwriting guidelines.

- Review and revise internal processes and ensure SOPs are in place

- Ensure timely query and complaint resolutions by team

- Liaison with the Reinsurers regularly for routine work, industry trends, guidelines review

- Ensure regular feedback to risk team on quality of business and work closely with them for getting risk mitigation guidelines set/reviewed.

- Ensure SLAs with vendors and consultants are in place and getting adhered to

- Interact with Senior management, various forum members for business needs, people management

- Ensure timely project completion

- Strong risk awareness and mitigation expertise

- Communication with internal and external customers

- Timely & calculative decision making expertise

- Training & audit skills, analytical approach
