Senior Role - Data Analytics - IT (8-16 yrs)

Key Responsibilities: Sr. Manager, Data Analytics- Global Resource Pool, Global Internal Audit

The DA Senior Manager works closely with the IA Functional Leads, to lead / support the effective planning and execution of engagements. The individual's responsibilities includes;

Responsibilities;

- Directing team members and ensuring their accountability and timely execution of each engagement. Mentor and coach team members; provide proactive feedback on performance.

- Review of identified gaps and areas for improvement and evaluating their significance and potential business impact.

- Develop requirements in collaboration with the Audit Team. Design, code, test, and analyze results using tools such as ACL, IDEA, SQL, MS Excel, MS Access and Tableau

- Design analytics tests to support audit activities, including Audits, Continuous Monitoring, and Risk Assessments. Perform data analysis as needed using various techniques (statistical analysis, predictive analytics, and forensics review) to reach and support conclusions.

- Recommend analytics solutions as part of audit planning to help execute audit tests by providing the ability to automate full-population testing, sampling, re-performing control activities, and performing exception testing.

- Develop innovative, re-usable tools, scripts and solutions that can be leveraged by the Business Audit and Audit Analytics teams.

- Manage and improve the analytics operating model, analytics, methodology and approach. Ensure data validation process is in place an all phases of analytics lifecycle Deign and improve audit focused analytics and build a framework around it.

- Directing and monitoring the review execution and reporting phases to ensure that the fieldwork is in accordance with the planned scope/ risk areas, aligned with budget expectations and overall value added reporting is delivered. Track and reports project status and milestones.

- Reviewing work papers documentation to ensure the retained documentation supports the audit work performed.

- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business Management.

- CA/CPA/ MBA with at least 10 years of experience, preferably a mix of time in a - Big 4- public accounting firm and a large international audit and control function.

- Certifications in Business Analytics / Big Data.

- Experience in Data Analytics methodologies from descriptive analytics to more advanced analytics (predictive & prescriptive modeling exposure is a plus)

- Exposure to database concept to design and manage the data environment (SQL, Oracle, DB and others), sound knowledge of data privacy concepts, policies, practices and procedures,
