Senior Research Analyst - KPO

Supporting the senior analysts/client analyst on various tasks, which could vary from data gathering, populating data in financial models, building financial models, preparing sections of reports or entire report, ratio calculation and analysis, deep-dive secondary research to populate industry/company presentations, etc.

- Working on various type of assignments, such as preparation of teasers, IM, pitchbooks, company reports, industry reports (both on sell-side and buy-side projects)

- Ensuring that the tasks assigned are completed within the deadline, and ensuring top quality output with a thoroughly conducted self-driven quality-check process

- Maintaining flexibility to learn new techniques and functionalities, and gain exposure to various types of assignments

- Contributing to internal knowledge creation and ad-hoc assignments

- Handling ad-hoc research requests as per client requirements

- Support in developing and maintaining databases to monitor/analyse industry and companies

- Data mining through deep internet research

- Exposure to sell-side, buy-side, private equity, wealth management related assignments.

Skills Required :

- MBA (Finance) or International CFA (all three levels cleared) with minimum 3 years of relevant experience in financial research (in KPO)

- Should ideally have handled more than one project at a time (Ability to work on different projects/teams)

- Ability to adapt depending on client requirements

- Must be well versed and experienced into financial modelling and valuation including DCF, writing reports of various forms- short company profiles, detailed initiating coverage reports, equity research reports, fund raising presentations / profiles, sector/industry reports

- Should have exposure to global macros and asset classes

- Self-driven and willing to take responsibility

- Excellent analytical and communication skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
