Senior Research Analyst - Buy Side - US & European Markets - Financial Services (2-7 yrs)
Job Duties:
The candidate would be responsible for :
- Supporting the analyst team for a large Buy-side Europe based Asset Manager
- Support the onshore team in fundamental analysis of large cap stocks listed in US and European markets
- Assist the onshore team in maintaining company specific financial models based on client's proprietary valuation methodology
- Lead a team of 2-3 Chartered Accountants with overall responsibility of content development and other team level management
- Apply customized accounting adjustments to evaluate true economic value of a company
- In-depth analysis of financial statements including notes to accounts to ensure high level of data accuracy.
- Reading and analyzing company presentations, call transcripts, broker reports to capture the relevant impact on overall company valuations
- Work on sector thematic and ad-hoc analysis on accounting parameters across companies and sectors
Skill Required :
- Excellent knowledge of Accounting, focus on IFRS and US GAAP
- Good Knowledge of financial company valuations concepts
- Good excel skill
- Good problem solving skills
- Good communication skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders
Qualification & Experience
- Chartered Account with 3 - 4 years post qualification experience in any financial services industry/Audit
- Candidates pursuing CFA or holding a CFA charter will be preferred
