Senior Quant - Statistical Modelling - BFSI (5-9 yrs)
Job Location Mumbai
Summary The role forms part of the Quants Team in FNB Dynamic Decisioning.
Purpose :
- To plan, build and implement innovative quantitative analytic methodologies, procedures, products and models within a broad framework in order to enhance and inform strategic offerings. This role requires a deep understanding of implementable machine learning algorithms & A/B testing
Job Profile :
- Ability to do statistical modeling, build predictive models and leverage machine learning algorithms.
- Creates business application and modeling framework, for new datasets, and discovers insights and relationships from large/complex datasets
- Explores data using a variety of advanced statistical techniques to proactively identify relationships, create insights and answer business questions or guide future model development.
- Combines business acumen with mathematical capabilities to build complex predictive models to support business objectives
- Incorporates findings and provides industry and competitor insights as part of model development and enhancement.
- Networks with and contributes thought leadership to the broader external analytics community.
- Clean, analyze and select data to drive improvements related to high-level business goals
- Work with strategic customers on demo projects for proof of concept
- Present proposals and results in a clear manner backed by data and coupled with actionable conclusions.
- Implement a full end to end A/B testing framework.
- Relevant experience of 5+ years.
Skills and Knowledge :
- Advanced SAS modelling skills
- Intermediate Python skills
- Exposure to AML packages such as DataRobot would be beneficial.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor- s/Master's degree in Maths, Stats, Engineering, Computer Science, Econometrics, Physics or Actuarial Science
