Senior Project Analyst - Governance Risk & Compliance - BFSI

Job Role : Sr Project Analyst (Risk & Compliance)

1. Collaborate with appropriate teams globally to ensure consistent and timely service delivery of corporate and business unit Risk & Compliance requirements

2. Direct efforts cross-functionally and uses good understanding of business functions, risk and controls to support requirements through their life cycle, with emphasis on the analysis stage

3. Monitor project planning and management by documenting and maintaining plans, trackers and managing issue logs

4. Facilitate and escalate Compliance requirements, operational risk and control issues in a timely fashion and towards resolutions/completions; effectively communicate progress and escalations to Team Leads and Senior Management

5. Supports manager in coordination/facilitation of overall Risk & Compliance communications, and risk incidents/issues resolutions

6. Support and assist with the end-to-end planning, implementation of business-as-usual projects including supporting multiple work streams and working groups within a large strategic initiative

7. Interpret project needs and work to meet those needs, offering assistance and advice on standard practical issues; may call on others for help in situations outside own area of knowledge

8. This role is also responsible for creating presentations in support of regular updates Management has to present to senior leadership and other business units. This information consists of a summary of projects underway, operational risk incident reports, etc.

9. This person must be dynamic enough to assist in various roles as special projects come up such as project management, coordination to drive local efforts, etc.

Skills Required :

- Excellent Communication Skills (Verbal & Written)

- Strong Interpersonal Skills, Stakeholder Management, Lead calls with the stakeholders

- Flexible and multitasking

- Hands on experience in preparing Management Reports and Risk Governance Presentation (Should be well versed in MS office Suite). Excel Macros will be an added advantage

Minimum Qualification :

- Bachelor's Degree /Post Graduate in any discipline

- Certifications in Risk Management would be added advantage

- Prior experience in BFSI Operational Risk Management (Client On-boarding R&C)
