Senior Program Manager - Public Health (NGO)
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Contribute to the revision and updating of the project work plan and implement project activities in coordination with hospital partners
- Coordinate work with hospital-based project staff, facilitate regular reporting of deadlines
- Facilitate and contribute to the development of hospital site-specific quality improvement plans to deliver outcomes to the appropriate level of quality, on time and within budget
- Assist in interpreting the results and impact of project activities, conveying that information to program teams and senior leadership, and facilitating internal dissemination for critical program and policy decision
- Prepare materials for presentations and briefings and deliver formal and informal presentations and training activities of the project
- Contribute to the preparation of regular reports and presentations on the progress of the implementation of projects for donors and stakeholder , financial management , monitoring and evaluation of project activities
- Willingness to attend meetings with technical team located in USA at irregular hours ranging between 19.30- 22.00 India time
- Willingness and ability to travel within India to hospital sites up to 30-40 % of time
REQUIREMENTS :
- Master's degree in Public Health/ Health Administration with program management experience in health, hospital, NGOs or other organizations implementing health programs
- Experience with quality improvement methods and/or hospital-acquired infection surveillance would be a distinct added advantage
- Experience working effectively with government counterparts at central and local levels, especially with national and provincial hospitals
- Experience with delivery and implementation of antimicrobial stewardship and infection prevention and control programs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and project management tools e.g., Trello, smart sheet
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
