Senior Product Manager - User Retention & Communication - Online/Internet (4-8 yrs)

Role :

We're hiring for a Senior Product Manager to lead our User Retention and Communications initiatives. You'd build products that will directly impact one of the most critical metrics of Apna's business - user retention. As is the case for marketplace products, retention is a function of demand/supply in addition to the quality and ergonomics of the product. Against this background, you would be responsible for all features related to in-app and off-app communications, along with demand-supply matching algorithms that will determine the conversion on the app. Additionally, you'll also be building next-gen communication products like chatbots for Customer Success. Responsibilities :

- Maintain and build new features for all internal communication tools used for in-app and off-app communications, including in-app chat, push notifications, WhatsApp, email, SMSs and IVR

- Build internal tools that will help internal teams such as Customer Success to automate job approval, improve job fulfilment and run promotions, for the growth team to forecast growth required

- Work with PMs, data scientists, AI, applications, and infrastructure engineers to lay out a comprehensive communications roadmap

- Aligning product strategy and candidate/employer experience with model objectives through measurable metrics

- Understand and lead analyses of the competitive environment, customers, and product metrics to determine the right set of features to drive engagement and usage on Apna

- Drive global product requirements definition, product planning, and product design (including writing PRDs) of new features and enhancements

- Clearly communicate product and platform benefits to our users and internal stakeholders

Requirement :

- 4+ years of experience in Product Management or equivalent role

- Previous experience working on a scale of MAU > 5 Mn

- Experience building products with a demonstrated ability to drive product roadmaps, development, and launch

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with and understand technical subjects and emerging technologies

- Ability to lead and align several teams, with a track record for driving complex product planning and development

- Ability to understand deeply technical systems and communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

- Experience with retention and/or novice member experiences

- Previous experience with products like MixPanel, Clevertap, Branch
