Responsibility areas:
- Discovery:
- Research existing demand, explore the problem space of Embedded Banking through the lenses of viability, feasibility, usability, customer empathy and ethical assumptions
- Get feedback early and often, often co-designing with customers or prospective clients
- Map solutions to specific opportunities
- Prioritisation
- Apply skills from user science, analytics and business acumen to identify customer and user problems.
- Apply the lens of strategy, user goals and your platform's priorities on problems to solve.
- Planning
- Define the product, ideate product iterations and GTM approach along with KPI definition and observability
- Own the product roadmap
- Communication
- Evangelise and communicate the product plan both internally and externally
- Apply low fidelity design to present the product vision
- Execution
- Work with engineering and design to plan launch scope. Together with engineering and design, break-down scope into launch iterations
- Coordinate actions across the org to achieve successful execution against plans
- Drive product adoption by liaising with Fintechs and partner banks
- Collaboration
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to arrive at the detailed solutions to problems.
- Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success to understand and eliminate obstacles to adoption and usage.
- Work with Marketing to bring new features to life on various communication touch points
- Iteration
- Design a customer feedback loop and optimise for customer and business success metrics
- Decide what features to change and prioritise iterations based on ROI
- Execute strategies that will drive measurable growth in adoption and engagement
Who should apply for this role?
- At least 6-8 years of experience in a Technology Product Management role
- You should have a track record of building & shipping high quality Enterprise or SaaS products while owning the process end to end
- Passionate about APIs and minimalist API design
- Formulating product strategy factoring industry trends, market, and competition
- Adapting to complex situations with an aim to achieve business goals
- Building web applications and interfaces with modern UX/UI patterns
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- An engineering / technical / marketing background that will allow you to reason about product trade-offs and make good choices with minimal inputs from engineers
- You conceive possibilities, think big picture, but deliver on the details
- Prior experience in payment systems, accounting systems will be an added bonus
