Senior Product Manager - Payment/FinTech (8-15 yrs)

As the product manager, you will own and drive the vision and road map for our payment platform. You will be responsible for evangelizing and executing on the road map. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders cutting across, business, technology, regulatory and industry. You will be responsible for defining, designing and detailing these payment solutions. You will also be responsible for delivery of the solutions working with cross-functional, distributed teams. Finally, you will be key, in helping us maintain our product agility, and extend our leadership in delivering innovative payment solutions that run reliably at scale.

Desired Qualifications and Skills set :

The ideal candidate should have more than 6 years of product management experience with relevant educational qualifications (Engineering and/or Management and/or Consumer Psychology) from a reputed institute. The candidate must have :

- Deep understanding of payment accounting ecosystems, industry trends, technology development and evolving customer needs

- Excellent negotiation skills and verbal and written communications skills

- Extremely analytical and data driven; ability to derive actionable conclusions from large data sets

- The ability to create multiple hypotheses and validate these using data/customer interactions and other tools

- The ability to think holistically covering all the aspects including edges and future possibilities

- A natural ability to empathise with customers and understand their real pain points

- Ability to understand tech deeply (architecture, scale pitfalls, etc) and to define functional design by taking platform/capability view

- Proactively communicate with stakeholders to keep them up to speed on planning, roadmap, execution status, launch, its impact, learnings, etc

- A sharp focus on automating repeatable tasks and reducing operational overheads
