Senior Product Manager - Media

Job Responsibilities:

- Defining the product vision that supports overall company goals, and develop execution strategies throughout the product life cycle

- Absorb all the complexities of the domain and the processes, and make simple, elegant and polished products that simplify the user experience

- Work closely with engineering, design and business team to drive alignment, remove blockers, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance business needs against technical constraints throughout project lifecycles

- Drive all product-related processes like - market research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, requirements development, pilot and product launch

- Create and maintain detailed product specifications and documentation that clearly articulate the product roadmap

- Identify opportunities to collaborate and partner with third parties for adding effective and scalable product features and functionalities

- Conduct beta testing and pilot programs with the product to ensure bug-free launches

- Analyse the similar product offering out there in the market and seek differentiation opportunities

- Develop, implement, and maintain production timelines across multiple departments

The ideal candidate must -

- Have 5 years of minimum working experience in product teams that have scaled from scratch

- Have demonstrated success in defining and launching products

- Solid technical background with understanding in software development and web technologies

- Be comfortable an environment that is constantly changing, frequently uncertain, and at times chaotic

- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job

- Be able to lead cross-discipline discussions without formal authority

- Very sound communication skills to listen and articulate opinions of all the stakeholders of the product

- Collaborate with Persuasiveness rather than authority

- Have strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple activities simultaneously

- Keen to learn, mentor and willingness to take ownership of work items
