Sr. Product Manager - Data Science

Responsibilities:

1. Manage the vision and long-term strategy for the core technology aspect of a key company data science (NLP, ML, Deep Learning) product supporting the Commercial Engagements.

2. Lead (through influence) a cross-functional team to deliver product releases on time, within budget and meeting customer and business requirements

3. Conduct market research and evaluate the competition to find innovative solutions for existing and new market segments.

4. Evangelize the product and coordinate regular meetings for user/stakeholder feedback and ideation.

5. Keep key stakeholders appraised throughout all processes of the Application Lifecycle Management.

6. Manage UX and UI designs to meet industry's idiosyncrasy, market opportunities and user adoption.

7. Documentation detailed business requirements for product features within the scope of core technology.

8. Help develop the product's roadmap, development plans and releases.

9. Support Software Engineering's ceremonies (sprint planning, sprint reviews, sprint retrospective, etc.)

10. Collaborate in the creation of testing plans and approve releases through User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

11. Create technical and end user documentation to facilitate the administration, support and use of the products.

12. Support DevOps processes and product deployments.

13. Adhere to policies and procedures in support of Information Security controls and audits.

14. Proactively contribute to a healthy and positive working culture at Precily, Inc.

Requirements & Competences:

1. Data Science / ML related experience.

2. Minimum 4 years of experience managing software or SaaS products and taking them to market

3. Strong understanding of various technology platforms, data flow, and analytics

4. Possession of a unique and balanced blend of business and technical acumen

5. Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical individuals to solve complex business problems

6. Ability to understand customer's needs and create a vision of technical and process-driven solutions to meet those needs

7. Experience managing projects, milestones, and tasks alongside diverse teams

8. Data fluency. You deeply understand how your products work, know every step of the funnel. You'll be expected to delve deep into datasets, build dashboards, and design and accurately measure experiments.

9. Ability to multi-task with good decision-making, analytical and problem-solving abilities

10. Excellent oral, written, presentation and interpersonal skills

11. Bachelor's degree in MIS, business, computer science, or related field (or equivalent work experience) required
