Senior Product Leader - Insurance (10-15 yrs)

We are looking for Senior Leader in Products for a Life Insurance company (One of top 5 based in Mumbai)


- A innovative Product leader to bring differentiator edge for the company.


Also looking for a strong 2nd line to Head Products


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :


STRATEGIC :


- Creating product roadmap (12-18 months timespan)


- Consumer research


- Ongoing distributor feedback


- Taking product ideas forward and develop the product specifications


- Getting product specs approved by all internal stakeholders


- Develop product delivery schedule and take responsibility for timelines being met


- New product regulatory filing


- Measure product sales performance and provide feedback to the management


- Scan and analyze the market for competitor products and developing new product ideas


- Work with marketing in product packaging, product positioning on the product launches


- Managing the existing products in terms of market offering, product feature enhancement etc by market/distribution segment


- Contributing to the delivery of service proposition


- Leading the product enhancement initiatives


- Post launch monitoring & reporting, consumer analytics on product portfolio, distribution feedback


CUSTOMER :


- Able to gain valuable customer insights via customer research (primary and secondary)


- Responsible towards timely delivery of information/ reports required by Sales, Marketing, IT, Pricing and operations teams


- Build and maintain professional relationships with other teams of the organization


KEY CRITICAL COMPETENCIES :


- Possesses good understanding of the financial products including life insurance in India and the external trends that affect functioning within the Insurance industry


- Should exhibit a high level of integrity and lay emphasis on setting ethical standards across the organization; should be able to lead by example


- Is able to build a strong learning environment within the team


- Is able to champion the use of technology within the function to improve the business performance


PROFILE :


- Should have at least 10- 15 years of work experience of which preferably at least 4 years in products in an insurance company


- Track record Track record in launching successful digital products
