Senior Principal - CIO Advisory - Global Consulting Firm

With offices around the globe, the company has a comprehensive presence across multiple segments of the technology product and service industries as well as a blue-chip roster of clients for their Consulting engagements. They are a respected company and a long-term wealth creator.

We are seeking to identify a senior resource to be a part of their CIO Advisory team. As a Senior Principal, you will pursue and grow deep client relationships, operating at the executive and senior management levels. You will provide leadership on most critical engagements. You will also be involved in branding, thought leadership, practice development, and knowledge management efforts to provide value-adding consulting services that enable our clients to meet the global landscape's changing needs. You will anchor sales proposal preparation and engagement delivery efforts.

Key role responsibilities include:

- Lead complex engagements; collaborate with others to identify, upsell and deliver consulting programs dealing with strategies

- Lead mid- large strategic transformations

- Build compelling Value Prepositions/Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies and entire pipeline of materializing market opportunities

- Create and implement strategies to deliver lasting benefits to clients in related areas

a) Business case development for operational growth

b) Digital, Cloud transformation and emerging opportunities

c) Application Portfolio Rationalization & Modernization

d) Hybrid cloud strategy / roadmap and adoption plans

e) Cloud economics / IT Cost Optimsation

- Thought Leadership and Practice Development

Your Profile:

- At least 12+ years of top-tier consulting experience

- Experience in managing large transformation programs in the industry

- Experience in driving large scale transformation Management/program management/change management

Experience in at least four of the six areas-

- IT Strategy & Business Architecture: Translate strategy into action, while transforming for the future

- IT Cost Optimization/ Tech Business Management: Address the fundamental IT cost containment challenge

- Cloud Roadmap and Business Case: Leverage infrastructure innovations to reduce cost and improve service

- Merger Divestiture Technology Integration: Identify and realize synergies in combining technology portfolios

- Enterprise Agile Transformation: Refactor traditional IT departments into lean and agile enablers of business strategy

- Application Portfolio Rationalization: Enhance the application portfolio and optimize spend

- Affiliations / Certifications: Industry certifications (e.g. TOGAF, ITIL Foundation, COBIT, Apptio TBMA, SAFe, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals) will be an added advantage
