Senior Planning Manager - FMCG

- Manage and train Demand planning team (DPT) to be able to efficiently plan handle demand planning function.

- Analyze global sales and develop methods for accurately forecasting sales globally.

- Develop progressively improving systems for accurately forecasting global demand.

- Provide past sales performance analysis and reports as needed to sales teams to support them in sales forecasting function.

- Develop strong and close working relationships with sales division and set up information transfer system.

- Set up an S&OP process.

- Regularly visit each sales business unit to work to refine forecasting and demand planning system.

- Arrive at net production demand for factories based on global demand forecasts and inventories.

- Review standard lead time, MOQ for material procurement and production.

- Monitor the production plan released for each production unit and review the plan with production unit to highlight and manage any resource constraints.

- Create long term production plans and review these with all relevant departments to identify and highlight any major capacity and/or resource constraints.

- Plan and optimize inventory levels; workout ways and means of rationalizing RM / PM inventories.

- Devise effective measures for reducing non-moving, slow moving stock inventory.

- Collaborate with sales, purchase and manufacturing teams and establish clear communication system where by relevant information is shared to all concerned people leading to clear decisions.

- Have intimate knowledge of the groups customers and sales divisions, to be able to plan demand as well as possible.

- Evolve production requirements based on demand plan, available inventory across all group companies and purchase Leadtime.

- Coordinate with NPD team and review all NPD projects and planned launch date; accurately forecast NPD sales and communicate the plan to all concerned teams.
