1. Prepare regional reporting for India and international (Monthly Market Business Updates and Quarterly Performance Comments), gather information on New launches, packaging, price changes, regulatory, excise updates, VAT changes, etc. from various external and internal sources in order to make the updates exhaustive, informative and actionable. - Provide analysis for management reporting at the local level, including accurate and relevant information while improving the quality and scope of the reports. Present the analysis/ findings in the monthly Sales Cycle Meeting to help employees across functions to understand the dynamics of the Industry. Make presentations for senior management for periodic regional reviews. 2. Manage GSPR - Data input, reporting and analysis for India and international market and rectification of previous period data, Update the brandboard and GSPR in case of changes in prices and market shares. Report industry performance trends to management on monthly basis. Coordinate with other departments for regular Updation of Blue Sheets for the management. Incorporate other sources of information e.g. Nielsen data for developing GSPR into a comprehensive tool. 3. Monitor economic and regulatory environment and also taxation in forms of VAT, Excise levy etc. through media monitoring and other sources. - Maintain and update Tax Tables for India and international market as and when there are changes in taxation. Maintain and update Price Structures every quarter so to understand any pricing opportunity and update management Prepare annual Industry Profitability report for regional submission, analyzing and forecasting the financial performance of key industry players. Build scenarios using modelling techniques, taking into account potential taxation and pricing, update management based on findings. 4. Prepare a comprehensive Industry Profitability projection and simulation model to ascertain and estimate the profitability trends for the current year as well as for the plan period for Industry and Company Volumes, financial implications etc. efficiently during OB/ LRP and as per regional request, Updation and revision of estimates on receiving actual volumes for India, and international market. 5. Work on presentations during the year mainly OB/LRP, Strategy Review, Commercial Review, Town Hall presentation for MD. Work on analysis and projects jointly with other departments/ cross-functional teams in the organization. - Conduct research/ studies jointly with Finance and Sales departments in order to provide volume projections (including Long Range Plans) and financial impact analysis. Work closely with the sales information team to understand the changing trends in the market and gathering information to enhance the knowledge base which can be used for better forecasting. 6. Respond to information requests, which require finding elements from various sources and prepare adhoc correspondence or report in order to meet the needs of the end consumers. Liaise with various departments, coordinate for eventual corrective actions and chart out actionable in accordance to procedures in order to meet internal and external business requirements. 7. Work closely with the Planning Manager in anchoring critical presentations to the senior management which includes OB / LRP, Commercial, Townhall presentations and 'Pre-read'. Act as one point of contact for putting together the presentations of all functions
