Responsibilities

- Lead a team of senior managers responsible for the management of their respective departments including recruitment, compliance, IT, sales operations, project management, creative design and technology deliver

- Run the recruitment process for positions that arise within the company including international

- Help Assign KPIS

- Assist your direct reports in building strategic plans/roadmaps and the development of future products and services to be used across the Field and Learning divisions.

- Analyse current processes and optimise - where possible identify systems and/or process issues and implement new solutions to drive improved business performance.

- Analyse & interpret performance data in order to identify issues before they materialise and put proactive solutions in place to maintain performance standards.

- Create a framework that builds on the corporate culture, ensuring that our staff are motivated, engaged and receive the development needed to thrive

- Support and provide advice to department managers to ensure they're equipped for the role and the challenges they face on a daily basis.

- Organised and efficient, with an ability to manage creative processes, as well as grasp operational details and financial strategies.

- Create succession planning within the business at all levels

- An ability to establish and build productive working relationships with support teams across the broader business, in particular IT, payroll, marketing and sales.

- Provision of leadership through effective communication with department managers resulting in an improvement to output.

- Responsible for developing and implementing performance strategies.

- Development & monitoring of budgets across each respective department.

Requirements

- Proven track record in managing a team of primarily technical and support staff.

- Proven experience having worked as a General Manager Operations in a multi-level organisation

- At least 5 years work experience at a senior management level

- Proficiency in compliance, operations management, particularly in the effective management of people

- Ability to successful engage external departments and business units

- Ability to understand various business and systems process management

- Has worked with or run a sales team.

- Ability to understand the interconnection between technical, operational and cultural impacts of potential ideas and solutions

- Clear and concise communication skills - both written and verbal

- Demonstrated success working with cross-functional teams

- Strong proficiency in the entire Microsoft Office Suite

- A relevant tertiary qualification in Business or similar is highly regarded but not necessary
