Senior Manager - Warehousing - Agri/Dairy

We are looking to onboard a Senior Operations Manager, (Warehouse) who will take an end ton end ownership of designing and implementing state of the art warehousing operations for our upcoming central warehouse in Karnataka, in line with the annual operating plan of the business and ensure that the key business metrics around serviceability and P&L are met. The key objectives of this role will to :

1. Design the ideal operating SOPs of the central warehouse with respect to manpower, material and machine movement, resulting in the most optimal operating conditions. (Fresh and non fresh products)

2. Understand products and services offered by the company and be able to articulate its benefits to internal and external audiences.

3. Hire, train and manage a team of Warehouse Managers, Executives and Picking labours

4. Implement standard operating processes to scale the working of the warehousing ecosystem.

5. Liaison with upstream and downstream stakeholders ( Sourcing and Last Mile operation) to ensure smooth handshakes while receiving from upstream as well as delivering products downstream.

6. Work closely with warehouse automation as well as warehouse management systems vendors to implement various process improvement initiatives.

- A strong problem solver with first principle thinking, ready to get hands dirty while leading large teams, someone who eats, sleeps and breathe ownership and is looking forward to be in an extremely high impact role.

- This role will involve extensive liasoning with all stakeholders of an F&V supply chain, right from the sourcing team to the last mile delivery team.
