Senior Manager - Video Technology

1) Planning, design, and configuration of CATV DVB system to ensure reliability of service.

2) Digital CATV Headend, IPTV/OTT Headend and Network, Satellite earth station,

3) Production and Playout facilities planning and installation.

4) Responsible for Video and Audio quality of Digital Signal: - Regular monitoring of audio and video, Maintain quality of QAM signal bit rates,

5) Maintain encryption of digital channels, Maintain quality of digital/analog RF power.

6) Integration and configure all types of Headend equipment.

7) Design and implementation Headend & topological expansions.

8) Maintain Set Top Box (STB) software test and upgrading for clients supports.

9) CAS & SMS system installation and configuration.

10) Maintenance and troubleshoot Headend and Dish Downlink network equipment.

11) Diagnosis & troubleshoot in Headend & distribution network issue.

12) Identify problem and recommend system improvements to improve technical performance and services.

13) Prepare project-based design and documents.

14) Prepare Headend and service-related documentation.

15) Good relations with team members and cross functional teams, vendors-third party partners etc.

16) Establish and maintain active and constructive relationships with vendors, broadcasters.

17) Take initiative quickly for all cases, plan and carry out work effectively.

18) Remains calm under pressure and work independently.

19) Always ready and willing to accept additional responsibilities.

20) Engages with DPO managers, LCOs, sales and marketing, technical leaders and executives to communicate headend status, escalate issues, and guide/ influence strategic decision-making.

21) Will co-ordinate with Technology Engineering teams, Operations and Sales Teams, third party vendors, OEMs, and Development teams.

22) Monitor performance of Headend Data center, branch offices and ensure 100% uptime

23) Responsible for timely execution of special projects/ up-gradation assignments
