MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 10 years relevant experience which can include industry experience (US Tax Returns Processing)
- BS and/or Masters in Accounting
- Must be a CA/CPA or JD
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in US public accounting, demonstrating a proven progression in US tax return complexity, scope and research.
- At least 2 Years experience representing US clients before taxing authorities.
- At least 1 year of experience supervising and directing the work of others

- The position requires an experienced US Tax Professional with strong interpersonal and supervisory skills. The candidate would be responsible for leading and managing multiple US tax engagements to deliver quality tax services to our clients. This position is a senior position for a partner track candidate and will be a leader in this US tax provision practice.
Responsibilities:
Build existing client relationships and demonstrate interest and knowledge of client's business.
Assumes responsibility for smooth flow of tax returns through the tax preparation system (US) to ensure accurate, complete and timely preparation and delivery of all clients' tax returns. Performs technical tax review and final approval of all tax returns and of any complexity.
Works with partners, principals and heads to develop practical and effective tax strategies for US clients. Makes effective use of firm resources to complete a project and manage multiple client projects.
Perform research, develop and implement strategies, and draft memoranda on complex tax issues.
Develops a professional relationship with the client and serves as the main point-of-contact to the client and ensures the client is fully informed of engagement progress.
Contribute to the development of your own and the teams technical acumen
Review & prepare individual, partnership and corporate tax returns
Manage compliance engagements, from budgeting to scheduling to managing staff
Train and supervise staff, review and evaluate their work
Make suggestions to help improve efficiencies, within department and on engagements
Be involved with the financial management and billing of clients
Private Equity / High Net Worth Individuals / Startups all a plus
Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years relevant experience which can include industry experience (US Tax Returns Processing)
BS and/or Masters in Accounting
Must be a CA/CPA or JD
Proficiency with MS Office suite of products as well as tax preparation, compliance & research software. Experience with ASC 740 highly desired.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in US public accounting, demonstrating a proven progression in US tax return complexity, scope and research.
At least two years' experience representing US clients before taxing authorities.
At least one year of experience supervising and directing the work of others
Excellent project management, tax research and writing skills.
