CA - Senior Manager- Treasury and Fund - Life Insurance

Job Description :

- Understanding of Bond Securities, GSEC securities and associated systems of that ie CRIBCS, FTRAC , FIMMDA, E-kuber and related systems and dealing with the custodians

- Give investible funds to FO for investments after considering daily UMR/collection, Daily IP's & Redemptions, Pay-in Pay-out for securities etc for Ulip and Non-Ulip Funds.

- Understanding of Market knowledge as far as types of investments as in Bond, GSEC

- Knowledge of all Banking transactions, coordination with Branches, Banking arrangements, Banking negotiations, Relationship Management with various department and Banks

- Any new product in the Banking industry to co-ordinate with Banks and ensure that this are run passed through the departments

- Fund accounting

- Performing reconciliations of Holding, Unit and Bank

- Accounting of all the investments done by Front office

- IRDA requirements for the investments function as a whole

- Understanding new types of investment and the manner of valuation, accounting etc

- Sound excel knowledge, investment accounting systems like Mfund, etc

- Audit Co-ordination

INTERACTIONS :

Internal Relations: All departments, Front Office, Mid office

External Relations: Custodian, Brokers, Counter parties, Crisil, Investment Software service provider etc

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS :

Educational Qualifications: CA

Work Experience: 0 - 2 years

Certifications: Any Market related certifications

Other skill sets :

- Relevant experience of being in the Cash management function or anytime in the recent past

- Should have the right presence of mind to act in pressure situations

- Should have good communication skills and problem solving approach
