Senior Manager - Treasury - Banking & Investments - CA

For a Food Delivery startup.

Designation: Senior Manager

Core Areas: Banking & Treasury.

Qualification: CA or MBA Finance.

Preferable with E-Commerce background, Proficiency in MS Excel, and working knowledge of SAP.

Notice: Immediate to 60 days.

Experience: 8-11 years.

Key Responsibilities:

Banking & Treasury Accounting:

- Manage accounting for fixed deposits, bonds, G6, and other asset types.

- Oversee treasury accounting (handled by the treasury team, not the controllership team).

Cash & Liquidity Management:

- Monitor daily cash flow to prevent surplus or deficits, ensuring optimal fund utilization as per the investment policy.

Investments & Policy Compliance:

- Assist in investment decisions (where, when, and at what yield to invest).

- Ensure compliance with investment policies and suggest policy improvements.

Banking Operations:

- Evaluate banking products, new features, and their impact on cash flow and compliance.

- Manage banking relationships and optimize fund routing.

Valuation & Fund Infusion:

- Conduct valuation exercises (annually/quarterly) for subsidiaries and unlisted equities.

- Analyze fund requirements for subsidiaries, deciding on loans or equity infusions.

Decision-Making & Team Management:

- Handle quick turnaround decisions, new product launches, and strategic initiatives.

- Supervise a small team, depending on the candidate's expertise in banking or treasury.

Candidate Requirements:

Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (preferred) or MBA with strong treasury accounting and banking experience.

Experience: 810 years post-qualification.

Industry Preference: E-commerce, retail, or dynamic startups (preferred), but open to candidates from other corporate backgrounds if adaptable to a fast-paced environment.

Location Preference: Delhi NCR or North India (relocation-resistant candidates from South India not preferred).
