Please note:
The primary need & the right person will be the one who has strong Trade Marketing experience in FMCG.
The TMM position for us has to be a mix of operational excellence and driving strategy. He will be the right-hand man of CMO for driving all strategic initiatives in the market, as well as being the pivot for all new processes, new product launches etc. The need is of a mature, driven individual who could either be at a regional TMM position or at a Sr ASM position ( with trade mktg experience) in a growing FMCG company.
Job Objective
Responsible for trade marketing activities- in GT- across both products lines (H1 & H2); the key custodian of new product launches and is responsible for ensuring adherence to the sales- promotion and activation- budget vis a vis the sales objectives.-

Level of education
Post Graduate Diploma/ MBA or equivalent in Sales & Marketing-
Experience
Minimum- 6 years in Sales and Marketing and at least 2-3 years in a position of similar responsibility
Key Responsibilities
- Lead development of the Trade Marketing Strategy to achieve defined business objectives across all product categories
- Develop a trade promotional plan with key customers and channels in consultation with Head H1 & H2,- KAM and Wellness.
- Use data through research and analysis for development and implementation of category strategy for existing and new products
- Prepare the budget for the trade marketing activities in consultation with Head H1- & H2,- KAM- & Wellness- and submit the same for approval
- Create and ensure adherence to annual trade marketing budget
- Own responsibility for the development, execution, and performance of all programs designed for trade level inputs
- Work closely with the CSMO to ensure that trade marketing strategies are aligned with sales objectives and revenue targets
- Spearhead and take complete ownership of all Sales Development Projects eg Sales Force Automation, Distribution expansion, New Channel Expansion and other strategic sales initiatives
- Take complete responsibility for entire Go-To-Market strategies for New Product Launches in the market, right from distribution blueprint, sales infrastructure and resource development, pieces of training, launch events and post-launch execution.
- Design and monitor comprehensive cyclic activity plans merging the initiatives of both Sales and Marketing functions
- Roll out secondary based schemes and consumer promotions in the market-
- Determine town and outlet penetration suitable for current and future business growth in the various regions
- Analyze data to gauge effectiveness of- trade inputs and promotions-
- Ensure alignment across the Sales and Marketing functions on field sales needs and marketing initiatives, including budget management
- Coordinate with the Marketing team to design promotional material and programs that increase the company's product- visibility
- Co-ordinate and communicate product, price and pack changes to all channel partners
- Provide timely data as required by- the S&OP guidelines
- Monitor and track third party agencies taken on board for any BTL activity/ activation
- Process the claims within defined timeliness as per the defined- SOP
- Conduct monthly trade marketing meetings to discuss the sales trend, spend efficacy analysis and the upcoming plans
- Liaise with- supply chain for demand forecasting and adherence to supply plans
