The candidate should be experienced individual to lead a large technology team and help to architect and maintain scalable products and systems which can handle millions of daily active users. Core Responsibilities and Role Description :

1. Providing clear and concise instructions to technology team.

2. Develop a deep understanding of end users and clients, identify the pain points in the current offerings and competitor offerings.

3. Prepare requirements /deliverables for projects and sprints.

4. Build compelling data visualizations, including dashboards, to help management team prioritize information needs.

5. Supervising the work of the team.

6. Setting up KRAs/KPIs for the team.

7. Planning and executing strategies for completing projects on time.

8. Researching and developing technology roadmaps.

Skillsets / experience required :

1. 10+ years of experience in Web Applications, Mobile Applications and API(s) Management.

2. Knowledge of PHP, Python, Redis, ElasticSearch is a must.

3. 6-7 years of hands-on experience on core Laravel/Lumen, Wordpress.

4. Experience in frontend frameworks and design patterns.

5. In-depth knowledge of XML related technologies, JSON, JWT, Oauth2.

6. Have strong fundamentals in working with BDD, TDD, Solid Principles.

7. Good expertise on working with databases - Postgres or MySQL.

8. Implementation knowledge of Web Services (SOAP-based and REST-based).

9. Detailed knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Akamai CDN and security services.

10. Knowledge of Web Security guidelines.

11. Knowledge of network and firewall management.

12. Domain expertise from News/Media/OTT platforms will be preferred.

13. Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.

14. Experience on Google Analytics will be an advantage.

15. Experience with digital consumer product development will be an advantage.

16. Understanding of Bengali will be an added advantage.

Academics :

- Must have a strong academic background throughout.

- Minimum B.E. / B.Tech from a reputed institution with additional qualifications / certifications in relevant areas.
