Senior Manager - Techno Commercial - Mining & Technology (12-20 yrs)

We are an executive search firm from Mumbai and are engaged into the recruitment business for the past 12+ years.

We are currently looking for Sr. Manager - Techno Commercial (Mining & Technology) for our leading client who is a diversified organisation in India comprising 6 publicly traded companies. It has world class transport and utility infrastructure portfolio that has a pan-India presence.

Job Objective

Lead & Manage sourcing and purchase of the specified spend category (Commercial Mining Activities, Mining Technology, Special Projects, Pre Mining Activities, Environment and Quality), develop and sustain vendor relationships and negotiate best price points, thereby meeting specifications of quality, timelines within the stipulated budgetary requirements.

Educational Qualification:- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management/ Mining Engg./ finance/ operations/ engineering, or a related area

Roles and Responsibilities

Strategic Roles & Responsibilities

1. Core Procurement - 30%

A. Purchase Requisition (PR) Review

B. Strategic sourcing for CapEx, OpEx, Bulk material & Services

C. Contract preparation and Order placement

D. Procurement through Rate Contracts

2. Strategy, Planning, SOP and guidelines - 20%

A. Techno-commercial Strategy and initiative

3. Associated procurement activities - 20%

A. Post order management

B. Commercial Due diligence for M&A or any new business opportunity

4. Supplier management - 10%

A. Supplier/ Vendor identification and onboarding

B. Supplier/ Vendor performance management

5. Data management - 10%

A. Data analytics

6. Risk Management - 10%
