Senior Manager/Team Manager/Chief Manager - Legal - LLB - NBFC (4-10 yrs)
1. JOB PURPOSE :
Corporate Transaction lawyer responsible for Deal Structuring (Investment, exit from an account, new deal, etc.), incorporation of fund (Alternative Investment Fund), Asset management, recovery of loan, etc.
2. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES :
- To provide expert and strategic legal advice to the organization on deal structuring (Investment Banking - M&A / PE), drafting & reviewing legal documents, negotiation.
- To provide expert and strategic legal advice to the organization on strategy planning for Asset Management, recovery of Loan from Corporate client(s).
- Liquidation and enforcement of security (including guarantee, etc.).
- Evaluate the ongoing recovery proceedings and provide comprehensive suggestions and solutions in the best interest of the organization and achieve reduction in transaction cost.
- To provide expert advise on dealing with alternative investment fund matters.
- Conducting training sessions for business team and in-house legal team.
3. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE-
Educational Qualifications, Experience & Other Skills
1. Law Graduate with minimum post qualification experience in M&A, Investment banking transactions, asset management, AIF matter, loan recovery and NPA redressal.
2. Excellent Knowledge of M&A and Investment Banking matters (structures), AIF Regulations, Asset management (reconstruction)Regulations (SDR, S4A, CDR, JLF, etc.).
3. Well verse with Corporate Law, commercial law, DRT (RDDB Act) law, SARFAESI Act, Insolvency and Bankruptcy code, 2016, CPC, Arbitration, etc., including process pertaining to loan recovery
4. Excellent drafting and negotiation skills involving transaction documents and other legal documents.
5. Strong at developing process mechanism and tracking them.
6. Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task within demanding time frame
