Key Responsibilities of the Role:
Project implementation and management:
1. Oversee all aspects of tax compliance for our operations in India, including direct and indirect taxes, transfer pricing, and withholding taxes.
2. Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize tax efficiency for the company.
3. Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns, and respond to tax notices and audits from regulatory authorities.
4. Provide tax guidance and support to the business units and other departments, including finance, legal, and operations.
5. Strong knowledge of Indian tax laws and regulations, with the ability to ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws, rules, and regulations.
6. Strong understanding of the Indian tax laws and regulations, including direct and indirect taxes, transfer pricing, and withholding taxes.
