Position Overview

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Talent Acquisition role drives strategy and thought leadership for recruiting, with the main objectives to be an employer of choice and attract the best talent from the market. This role will create and implement a strategic and progressive talent acquisition strategy, with full executive buy-in and participation, to ensure that organization recruits the strongest talent.

- Workforce Planning / Resource Management

Principal Responsibilities

Leading Talent Acquisition

Strategy, People, Processes & Technology

- Driving and managing recruiting practices, analytics, innovation-led initiatives, processes and systems enhancements and implementation; this includes any technology service delivery and recruiting transformation.

- Drive innovations, enhancements and efficiencies in recruiting processes and systems; develop approach for initiatives and implementation and continuously evolve an effective recruitment process, that provide high quality experiences for candidates and hiring managers.

- Build analytics as key component within recruiting processes

- Responsible for engaging with HR, recruiting and business leadership in addressing key recruitment challenges.

- Build strong partnerships with business leaders across the organization in order to understand trends, business needs, business direction and business strategy in order to deliver solutions that support positive business results

- Influence senior level business and functional leaders to ensure overall business objectives are met and the resources necessary to recruit talent are acquired.

Operations

- Delivering to recruiting targets set across businesses and entities.

- Managing recruiting metrics, supplier relationships, budgets and compliances.

- Nurture vendor relationships to ensure recruiting goals are met

- Drive market intelligence on talent, competitor landscape, and geographical recruitment trends and practices, providing guidance and support as needed to recruiting teams.

- Manage and deliver to recruiting budgets (specific focus on cost optimization through the right channel mix, metrics and recruiting compliances.

- Developing the strategic approach and leading initiatives in sourcing (including the usage of social Media).

- Plan for technical and behavioral assessments and other areas to support all recruiting teams

Leadership, University Hiring

- Own and drive Leadership / Executive and university hiring

Resource Management / workforce planning

- To be able to work with all relevant stakeholders to align the organizations business plan with workforce plan.

- Expert in Leadership, technology & Bulk hiring.

- Responsible for working with Business Leaders and HR to build a workforce plan with accuracy for all staffing forecasts and capacity planning.

- Partner with HR and business leaders in the identification and prioritization of current and future talent needs, and the deployment of a recruiting strategy to support that..

- Perform comprehensive data analytics to identify key staffing needs, trend patterns and support the monthly forecasting process.

- Optimize on internal hiring

- Providing strategic advice to decision-makers for internal / external hiring and re-skilling of employees

- Provide effective Workforce Management Support: Forecasts, Schedules, Skilling Strategy, Reports and Analysis to business leadership

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will also be characterized by the following attributes:

- MBA from a Tier 1,Tier 2 institute with more than 8 years of relevant experience

- Strong leadership and demonstrated ability to manage cross functional teams, and ability to work collaboratively across multiple management structures

- Excellent organisation and planning skills, ability to progress a number of projects simultaneously

- Business awareness, problem solving skills

- Strong communication skills and good interpersonal skills

- Ability to work on new initiatives and project to support growth in the organisation.

- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work in a matrix organisation
